Routes & Route Logs

Routes, in tandem with Services, are a main function of Accu-Trax that assist with assigning and organizing how a service is delivered to the customer.

  • Routes are highly intuitive and customizable; allowing Dates, Drivers, Materials, and Sequencing to be assigned.
  • Services are then assigned to individual routes based on the Frequency, Date, and location of Service Address.
  • Route development is the frontline for creating an efficient workflow.

New Route

There are a few concepts in which a 'New' Route can be thought of.

  • Route Set Up - This is the fundamental creation of individual routes. During database setup, new Routes are assigned a Number, Date, Driver, Truck, and several other 'if applicable' settings.
See Creating Routes for more information.

  • Add New Route to Service - During the process of adding a Service for the customer, a required step is to 'Add New Route' to the 'Customer Routes' selection window before assigning that Route to the 'Service Routes' window.

  • New Route from ATO - a New Route may also be assigned from the Accu-Trax 'Routes' window under the 'Service Address' menu. Selecting 'New Route' will open the identical 'New Route Stop' window as above, and will insert a listed Route into the 'Customer Routes' selection window.
    • It is recommended to primarily add new Routes from the Services menu instead.

Route Logs

Route Logs are used to record the activity of service vehicles.

  • For clients using Navigator, Route Logs can be used to adjust or add to vehicle activity.
  • For clients not using Navigator, Route Logs is the primary way to record vehicle Trips, including Time, Mileage, Fuel, and Landfill Dumps.

Creating a New Trip

1. Click the 'New' button at the bottom right of the 'Route Logs' menu. The New Trip dialogue will pop up.

2. Enter information and click 'OK' to create a New Trip.

3. Add Events and information to the Trip at this point, or click 'Save' at the bottom of the menu to create a record to edit later.

Editing a Trip

The Route Activity Tab displays all Route Events and confirmed pickups for a customer.

Route Events: Double click any Route Event to open the View Route Event window.

  • This will include any image that was captured with the Event.
Pickups: A list of confirmed pickups from Navigator.
