Mechanic Dashboard

 
1. Follow Routes > Navigator > Mechanic Dashboard.



2. There are 2 tabs available: New Items and By Truck.

New Items Tab

This tab views all the New Reported Issues and Active Maintenance Tickets. From this tab, the user can select to Create Ticket for New Issues or run a Report.



Creating a Ticket for New Issue

Select the reported issue and Click 'Create Ticket for New Issue'. This will open the Create Maintenance Ticket window. Fill in the information as needed and save.



Double click the Active Maintenance Ticket to view in the View Maintenance Tickets screen. From this screen, make updates to the status of the Maintenance Ticket by selecting 'Update'. 



Another way to create a Maintenance Ticket is to double-click the New Reported Issues line item. The View Driver Issue window will populate with the View Driver Issue section and Create a Maintenance Ticket below. 


By Truck Tab

Select the desired Truck to view its Reported Issues and the Associated Tickets. Just like the New Items tab, double-click the Reported Issue line item to view it and create a ticket if needed. Double-click the Associated Ticket to make any updates to the open Ticket.
