Driver Notes

Driver Notes are notes assigned to particular Route Stops that appear on Routes to notify Drivers of service changes or special instructions.

The most common type of notes are 'Start' and 'Stop' notes, which populate automatically when starting or stopping services.
Other Driver Notes may indicate where a roll cart is or how to access a community.

Driver Notes may be added automatically when adding/changing a Service. The window above will populate if Accu-Trax thinks the driver should be alerted about a service action.

From the 'Add Driver Notes' menu, the automatic driver note can be fully customized in cases where users need to manually intervene.

This can be helpful if the Date, Type, Route, or Note should state information other than what is provided by Accu-Trax.

Driver notes can also be added manually from the 'View Driver Notes' menu.

View Driver Notes

Opens the 'View Driver Notes' menu where all driver notes in the past, present, and future are recorded.

Notable actions include choosing a Service Address, viewing all (inactive) Notes for the selected Address, adding a new Note, Date parameters, printing Notes, and copying, editing, or removing Notes from this list.

Customer Tools > View Driver Notes or 'Route Notes' in the lower left of the Service Address pane (with Driver Info).

Service Address - click on the address field to drop down a menu of all Service Addresses for this account.

Select the 'View All' option to see all Driver Notes for all Service Addresses on the account.

View All Notes For Address - check this box to display inactive or removed Notes along with active Notes.
Date Parameters - set a Date range to view Drivers Notes From Date and To Date.
Print - check the boxes and click 'Print' to select a custom list of Notes to be printed.
Copy - Copies the exact contents and Routes of a Note to be assigned to another Route or another Print Date.
Edit - allows further changes to a specific Note to change Print Date, Type, Note contents, Route, or assign a Color to the note.
Remove - removes the Note from the list. Removed Notes cannot be viewed by checking the 'View All Notes For Address' box.
New Note - opens 'Add Driver Notes' menu:

Select a Route, Sequence Number, Print Date, Service Address, Note Type, and Note content

Notes with a current or past Print Date cannot be edited or removed.

Driver Notes Report

Select Routes > Print Driver Notes to populate the Driver Notes Report window.

Set the From: and To: Date parameters.
Optionally filter by Route Names. Including multiple Routes will find Driver Notes from either of the selected Routes.
Select 'Search' to populate the results.
Select 'Report' to load the Driver Notes Report.

Driver Notes can also be added to the Route List by selecting Routes > Route Preparation and checking the 'Driver Notes' checkbox, then selecting 'Report'. Like Service Tickets, Driver Notes for that Route will display at the top of the Route List.
