Setting up a New Other Info Type

Other Info Types creates new entry fields within the 'Other Info' function tab.

Other Info can be used to encrypt sensitive customer information such as social security numbers or driver's license numbers if the company stores this information.
Other information can be stored here as well, such as birthdates, other phone numbers, or preferences.

1. Select System Tools > Database Setup > Customer & Billing > Customer Other Info.

2. Select 'New'.

3. Enter Type.

4. OPTIONAL: Enter order to determine which entries appear first.

4. Enter the Format.

5. To encrypt the Other Info check the checkbox for Encrypt.

NOTE: Encryption will only work if an encryption key has been set up. Please contact Accu-Trax Support for further information about setting up an encryption key.

6. 'Save'.
