Billing Schemes

Schemes are shortcuts that provide easy control over who gets a bill and when.

  • The scheme itself is a saved filter of specific customers derived from their Bill Code.  
  • Schemes act as a time saving function by selecting specific groups of behaviors.
    • Where the bill code dictates the behavior, the scheme groups all bill code behaviors.

Create a New Scheme

  • Click 'New' on the 'Select Scheme' pane.


  • The 'Create New Scheme' pane will open below.


  • Enter a name for the new Scheme.
  • On the right-side pane, click 'Add New' to add a Bill Code to the new Scheme.


  • From the dropdown list, select the Bill Code to add to the scheme.


    • OPTIONAL: If there are Scheme Comments that should be displayed on the bill every time it runs, set those comments up now.
  • Continue adding Bill Codes until the scheme fits the billing needs, then click 'Save as New Scheme'.


  • The scheme will now appear in the 'Select Scheme' pane.

Edit an Existing Scheme

  • Select the Scheme in the dropdown box and click 'Edit'.
  • Click 'Save Changes' when finished
